So much has occurred in the last months worthy of comment, such as Sarah Palin's breaking out to lead a new conservative movement, the Iranian election and crackdown, or the United Kingdom parliamentary scandals and how the Conservative Party is back. However, my daughter got married. That has attracted my attention.
Jackie has known John since she was 10. She's 23 now. When she was younger, she used to come home from youth group fuming “That John...” He wouldn't let her be. He was a dork. He was the worst thing to come into her life.
I had been praying for a Christian
husband for her all these years. God has a sense of humor.
I like John. He has many talents. He
arranged my library in my house in Dewey Decimal order. He writes
skits and songs (as well as I). He plays the kazoo and spoons. He can
dance. He works hard at his job and given the opportunities, will
rise high in his chosen field.
They got married Friday. The photos are
at http://presidenttingod.typepad.com/photos/wedding/.
I wish them the best; I give them all my love and my support; and I pray God give them challenges, but no more than they can overcome.
Beautiful! I love the rich shades of purple. But I have to admit...didn't realize you did events other than weddings (blush).
